Cars and other motor vehicles are typically high-value items, so we have additional guidelines in place to ensure these transactions go smoothly and protect both our buyers and sellers.
1. Non-Binding Bidding Process
Bidding on motor vehicles on NowNowSales is non-binding and differs slightly from bidding on other items. When you place a bid in this category, you consent to share your contact details with the seller. This allows the seller to contact you directly to discuss the sale and any relevant details regarding the vehicle.
2. Seller Responsibilities Regarding Bidder Information
As a NowNowSales Motors seller, you are bound by the terms of our User Privacy Policy regarding the use of personal information received from NowNowSales. You may only use a bidder's information to contact them about the vehicle they bid on or similar vehicles you have available for sale. Misuse of bidder information can result in penalties, including account suspension.
3. Rights and Responsibilities in Vehicle Transactions
When you place a bid on a vehicle in an auction or submit an offer using the "Buy It Now" or "Best Offer" options, you are entering into a transaction and are subject to the rights and responsibilities outlined in our User Agreement and User Privacy Policy.
Under the terms of such a bid, you expressly consent to share your information with the seller under certain circumstances. Sellers are permitted to contact you regarding your offer on the vehicle or to discuss similar vehicles they have for sale.
4. High-Volume Sellers and Bidder Information
NowNowSales Motors sellers who are high-volume dealers have access to bidder information for all bidders participating in a specific NowNowSales Motors transaction. These dealers may contact you not only about the vehicle you bid on but also to discuss additional inventory that might be of interest to you.
Sellers who receive this bidder information are only authorized to use it for the purposes you have expressly consented to. They are also bound by the terms of our User Privacy Policy regarding the use of personal information received from NowNowSales.
5. Compliance and Enforcement
All activity on NowNowSales is required to follow this policy, the NowNowSales User Agreement, and all applicable laws. It is also necessary to respect the rights of third parties. Failure to comply may result in NowNowSales taking action that is consistent with applicable laws and the User Agreement. Such actions may include but are not limited to, removing the listing or other content, issuing a warning, restricting activity, or account suspension.
